For almost three decades, I have been designing high-end area rugs and custom carpets for the leading luxury carpet and rug manufacturers in the world. My clients include  Scott Group Studio, Hokanson, Stark Carpet, Martin Patrick Evan, Matt Camron Rugs & Tapestries, and AER Textiles. 

I have collaborated with some of the top interior designers in the field and my rugs can be found in the most exclusive residences, offices and hotels across the globe. Over the years many of my designs have been featured in publications such as Luxe, Veranda, Interior Design, and Architectural Digest.

I am a proven design leader in the bespoke rug industry. I collaborate frequently on large scale projects providing expert turnkey design services. My projects range from a simple concept sketch and  custom color selection to full presentations with painted renderings, CAD drawings and strike-offs.

I am an expert in  project management, from overseeing all design phases, mill communications to complex, on-site installation oversite.

 

With a fine arts degree in painting, I view textiles and the design of them  as works of art. I believe all good design, like art must be rooted by the heart and executed by hand. Thus, all of my designs begin with pencil sketches, always painted by hand, then digitally manipulated as needed. I specialize in complex, organic designs but love to create contemporary, modern works that lend themselves to the current  bespoke manufacturing techniques.

I am inspired by my travels, nature, city life, classic  architecture and of course, art history.

 

After living in Austin and New York, I currently reside in Houston with my husband Kevin, son, George and my two dogs, Libby and Scout.
